Alaskan Sled Dog & Racing Association Race Schedule for 2004

Races start with 3-dog sportsman class at 10:00AM.

Limited mushers must be here by 10:00AM for dog painting on Saturday.

10:30AM musher meeting with race Marshall.

Open starts at 2:00PM.

Sign-up will be from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Jan 1st.

After a short meeting the Drawing will be held.

Orville Lake Memorial Race

January 3th and 4th

3 dog Sportsman class – 3 Mile trail (2.5 miles)

4 dog class – 4 Mile trail (approx. 3.4 miles)

6 dog class – 6 Mile trail (approx. 5.8 miles)

(Perimeter trail, Shield’s cutoff, right at the Airstrip, off on the Science Center cutoff, take the Home cutoff and in on the Perimeter trial.)

8-dog class – 8 Miles trail (approx. 7.5 miles)

(Perimeter trail, Shield’s cutoff, left at the Airstrip, continue on the Perimeter trail, take the Home cutoff and in on the Perimeter trail.)

Open class – Old 12 Mile (approx. 11 miles)

ASDRA LIMITED Championship Race

Minimum purse on ASDRA Limited championship is $5000

Women’s World Championship

February 20th – 21st – 22nd

Minimum purse on Women's is $7,000

Open 12.5 miles

Reverse starts Days Two and Three, determined by overall finish time the previous day or days.

February 27th – 28th – 29th

Minimum purse on Open World Championship is $40,000
